It would be impossible to create candles without the supplies, right? Next time you plan to make candles, you have to prepare your candle making supplies. Making candles is a great hobby and if you’re really into it, you can even sell the candles for profit. There are basic supplies that you need to purchase before you can make candles.

A typical candle making supply will include the wax, wick, and the mold or container. Candles are now available in various shapes, sizes, and designs. I am making a basket for Fall, for my child’s teacher. Are you ready to add the talent of speed reading personality types to your leadership development arsenal? You may find that sometimes you are speaking a different language when you are working to persuade someone or perhaps you do not understand someone when they are speaking to you. Perhaps you just want to be able to understand why people do what they do so that you can be more prepared to determine what their reaction may be in a given situation. Regardless of what the reasons may be, the ability to speed read people is a life skill which can pay off greatly in your leadership development and your ability to build relationships with others.

The first step to speed reading people’s personality types is to understand the four personality types. To make this very simple, we are going to identify them as Red, Green, Gold, and Blue. Knowing each of these colors is one of the great secrets of leadership development and of effective persuasion.

Reds are direct and usually very fast in their communication, they are more tasks driven than they are socially driven and would prefer to either be in charge or work on their own. They are analytical, they like to be challenged, and usually have a sarcastic sense of humor.
Greens are analytical and are task driven like Reds but are more slowly paced and indirect; they are extremely analytical and are more likely to work well alone and with some sense of structure. They are generally reserved with their emotions and tend to have a dry, clever and obscure sense of humor.
Blues are also fast paced but are more socially driven and are more likely to work well around other people, they are very persuasive and funny, they love to tell stories and are very animated. They are more intuitive than they are analytical and they tend to have a slapstick sense of humor.
Golds are slower paced and are more socially driven just as Blues are but they are less direct and more diplomatic. They are not normally big risk takers and are more indirect in their communication. They enjoy being comfortable and their sense of humor tends to be more light hearted.

So now that you know these, you can incorporate how to identify them into your leadership development tools. Here is an easy way to speed read a person’s personality type:

First, listen for the pace of their speech. If they are fast paced then they are a Red or a Blue, slower paces and they are a Gold or a Green. Then you have it down to two options and all you have to do is listen to the tone of their voice. It the voice is monotone and unemotional you have either a Green or a Red.

If it is more embellished and emotional then you have a Blue or a Gold. So the personality types are identified as follows: Reds: Fast and monotone. Greens: slow and monotone. Golds: slow and embellished. Blues: Fast and embellished. Now that you know these you can speed read personality types and enhance your leadership development skills in regards to persuading understanding others better.

What is the best way to create a science project on green car?

I need to create a 9th grade science project on green car and I need to know the best way to do so. As in if you have any ideas please answer this question. Also, I need to know materials as well.

I did a project in 10 grade in which I made a Wind Powered Car, I fixed some batteriws and a fan,simple but to give it a green touch u may use the newer laptop’s extended methane kinda battery that workd on fuel-cell technology(its not a battery actually it has fuel shored in it and it kinda converts it into energy like in an engine). How can I make a red laser beam visible?

Is there a way for a red laser beam to be seen from diode to wall? I know a fog machine will work but I was hoping that there were other ways without having to buy a green laser.

Smoke or fog will work. There are also 100mW red lasers out there (wickedlasers.com should do the trick) that have some visibility in daylight, but this always depends on there being something (even the tiniest amount of dust) in the air to scatter off of.

Traffic Light Cameras

Traffic light cameras are positioned on or near to a set of traffic lights with the purpose of photographing vehicles that stray through on red.

Knowing the condition of your comic book will help in knowing the value of it. Grading your comic allows you to describe the condition that it is in, and there is a universal scale which is used. Grading your own comic is subjective. The Comics Guaranty Company, or CGC, can grade your comic for a fee. Doing this will provide a third party opinion and make the grade less subjective. They use the same scale as well so it’s not always necessary to pay them to do the grading for you.

The highest grade a comic can receive is mint. If a comic is in mint condition it should look like it just came off the press. For a comic to be in mint condition there can’t be any tears, cuts or creases. The comic should be able to lay flat on a surface without any rolling or curving of the pages. The spine has to be the same way, completely straight. The staples in the spine have to look new and can’t have any rusting or unusual bending. The pages of a mint condition comic can’t have any fading or discoloration, marks or smudges, and there can’t be any rips or tears. The only accepted marking on the comic allowed is an autograph.

Not every comic can be perfect, and the next best grade it can receive is near mint. Older comics that are in near perfect condition usually receive this grade. Overall the comic should look like new, but there are a few exceptions allowed for this grade. If the cover is slightly off center it will be considered near mint. Other conditions that will give your comic a near mint grade are minor bindery tears and minor fading of the pages. All other aspects of the comic will have to be perfect.

If a comic has minor imperfections the grade usually given is very fine. Over time and use of the comic, it can be worn or damaged. However, to be graded very fine the comic can only have minor problems such as wear around the staples in the binding or a small crease on the cover. The color on the cover and pages can be slightly faded as well.

For comic books that are used and read, not just collected, the grade is usually fine. Because the comic has been open and read there are usually creases on the spine and pages. The staples can have some discoloration or show signs of unusual bending. Minor stains or tears to the pages will result in a comic being graded as fine. Fine graded comic books are above average in appearance.

The average comic book which has been read is graded as very good. A well read comic will have stress to the staples in the spine and obvious creases. The comic has to have all of the pages still intact as well. The cover and pages are allowed to have discoloration and fading, but there can’t be major tears. A small tear is allowed for this grade.

As comics start to lose value, and you can tell that they have been used and well read the grade given is either good or fair. The comic is worn down, has major defects, but it still readable. A good or fair grade will be given if the cover has been detached, has tears and creases along the cover and pages, the pages are marked or stained, and the spine is in bad condition. If pages are missing and the cover is gone the comic will be graded as poor.

GB now has 6 solid WR’s, all being a threat to defenses. the pick with Nelson was a solid pick regardless of what critics say. he is athletic and runs good routes. he also adds depth the the KR position as well. Brohm is a steal, i am sure you know all about it. Flynn, well, i don’t understand this one, but i do know that he will be around for a long time yet. GB does not need to cut any of these QB’s, except the backups from last year. watch out of DE Thompson from Wake Forest. this guy will emerge 3 years from now. GB loves to draft sleepers, as you may have noticed the past 3 years. they hardly ever draft big names, but these guys turn out great.

Ingredients you’ll need :

Parafin wax
Hard wax
Dye ( oil based )
necessary oil
Primed wick ( mitsa in tagalog )
Molds ( for molding the candles )
melting pot
Wooden or bamboo sticks ( for mixing )

Steps
Mix the ingredients. Measure out the required quantity of stearic acid. Acid should be combined with wax in the ratio 1:10, so you will need 20 grams of acid for 200 grams of wax. Boil some water and warm the acid in the top of your boiler or in a metal bowl over the shallow pan, but never directly over a heat source. Add a few chips of dye from the color block and leave to melt.
Measure out the paraffin wax and add it to the melted acid. Once this has dissolved, add some drops of fragrance oil, depending on how heavily scented you would like your candle.

Employ a thermometer to test the temperature of the wax is competely melted at ca. 80C ( better still, use the au bain marie system to melt your wax, put a tiny pan containing the wax into a larger pan crammed with water, in this way you can never overheat the wax ) before taking it off the heat.

Attach the wick. Fix the wick in place in the centre of the glass by pouring a little liquid wax into the base of the glass and letting it solidify around the wick.
Keep the wick in place by attaching it to a stick or pencil. Leave the wax to set.

pour the wax. Put a tray or newspaper under your mold to stop the wax dripping everywhere. Pour the liquid wax into a metal pouring jug and then slowly pour it into the mold.

Add extra wax. Wax contracts as it cools, so you will need to employ a stick or pencil to poke tiny holes in the candle around the wick after the first pour. This can prevent air pockets developing inside the candle. As the candle sets, the middle will sink as it cools, so you’ll need to melt more wax and top up the candle.

Repeat the process. Continue pricking the wax and topping up the candle until the surface is flat.

Leave to set. The candle will take a few hours to set, depending on its size. When it is totally set, take away the stick and trim the end of the wick before lighting your candle.
