i bought the API brand PH test kit with PH Up and Down, was trying to raise the PH to 7.0, but instead of using PH Up I accidentally dosed the tank with the test kit solution. how bad is that? does anyone know what it does and what, if anything, could be done besides a water change?

If the amount is small and you have a big tank then don’t worry about it but otherwise to be safe just do a partial change of your aquarium water then test again to make sure.
